Before you submit photos
What a photo review can — and can't — do.
A written review is based only on the images submitted. There's no live exam and no chance to ask follow-up questions in the moment, which makes it a lower-accuracy option than a video consultation.
Accuracy drops when photos are…
- Low-resolution or blurry, so fine detail (scale, texture, borders) isn't visible
- Taken under artificial or coloured lighting, which shifts the true tone of skin, redness, or pigmentation
- Edited, filtered, or colour-corrected — even unintentionally by phone camera software
Please send photos unfiltered, in natural daylight, at full resolution. If the images aren't clear enough for reliable advice, Dr. Imam will say so and recommend a live video consultation rather than guessing.
Payment and refund policy
Payment is required to submit a photo review. This fee covers Dr. Imam's time reviewing and writing back.
It isn't refundable if photo quality limits how specific her advice can be, since a review is still provided either way. If she can't assess your photos at all, she'll ask for a live consultation instead of leaving the submission unanswered.
